Cloak and Dagger Reading Challenge 2021

This year I will be joining in on the Cloak and Dagger Reading Challenge, hosted by Carol's Notebook. The Challenge will run from Jan. 1st to Dec. 31st. (Sign up ends March 15th)

The goal is to read and review any book that is from the mystery/suspense/thriller/crime genres. Any sub-genres are welcome as long as they incorporate one of these genres.

More detailed rules can be found here

The levels are:

  • 5-15 books – Amateur sleuth
  • 16-25 books – Detective
  • 26-35 books – Inspector
  • 36-55 – Special agent
  • 56+ books – Sherlock Holmes

I will be aiming at the Special Agent level, 36 - 55 books. I usually read more mysteries than that in a year, but I don't review them all.

Good luck with that, Tracy. That's quite a few books to aim for but I know you can do it!

Wow reading at the top end of those figures would be quite an achievement.

I'm really impressed, Tracy! It's a great challenge, and you've set such a high goal for yourself. I'll be interested to hear how it goes.

Cath, originally I planned to aim for 26-35, but then I decided to push it up a bit. It will be fun to see if I can do it.

Patti, the real achievement will be if I can write about more of the books I read. I leave so many good books behind without a review.

Thanks, Margot, I do hope I can meet my goals. And keep up with sharing my thoughts about the books I read.

Good luck 56 plus I reckon!

Well, Col, I have only done 7 "review" posts so far this year and only three of those are for mystery novels, so don't know how well I will do on this, but I will try. Always good to have something to aim for.
